The Grand Master, M.W.B. Adrian Burton (2010 to 2013)

This page endeavors to help you understand the process of joining Freemasons. The first thing to keep in mind is that for most people Freemasonry is a lifetime commitment. This is not to say that you will be ostracized or hounded if it is not for you, but keeping this in mind helps to understand the length of the process. There was a time when if you wanted to be a Freemason you had to know one. This was because you may only become a Freemason by seeking to do so yourself. In a sense that is still the case only now we can harness the technology made available to us. Filling in the form below will initiate that contact.

On receipt of this form someone from the lodge will contact you, usually by email but also by phone if you so choose. This is done to set up a face to face meeting. This would usually be in your home. However, if you do not feel comfortable with that we can make other arrangements. This is done for a number of reasons. The most important reason is that your partner will be present. This will help her to understand some of the real precepts of Freemasonry and see why you are making this move.

Because of the steps required in the process it can take a few months before you actually join. But remember, if this is a lifetime commitment, what is a few months?

Complete Step 1

To make any further inquiries, fill out the form below. We endeavor to get back to you within 48 hours but sometimes events overtake us. Please be patient, we will answer you.
