Great news brethren from Br. Chris Gaylard.
Finally Queensland has taken its first step in forming a Chapter in the Masonic Motorcycle Association Australia.
On Sunday the 5th of February 2012 brethren and friends met at the BP garage at the Gap. They then rode North to Kilcoy around the Dam, through Esk and met under a pine tree on the corner of the Brisbane Valley highway and Simpson St Fernvale. There they formed the QLD Chapter to be known as the MMAA SEQ Chapter.
If you like riding motorcycles, here is your chance to get behind (no pun intended) some like minded people.
This came from Peter Jacques
In March 2012 a group of like minded Queensland Masons established the South East Qld Chapter of the Masonic Motorcycle Association of Australia, which has branches in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
The Masonic Motorcycle Association of Australia is quite simply a social motorcycle-riding club. We are a non-brand specific riding club so no matter what brand of motorcycle you ride (minimum 250cc), so long as you are a Mason in good standing you are welcome as a member.
We also have associate membership open to non-Masons both Male and Female who can take any office except presidency, (for which you have to be a Mason). We are an Australian based group of independent Masons who have joined together to simply share the thrill of riding with other members of our fraternity, family and friends and raise a little money for charity along the way.
Our Social Rides take place on the 2nd Sunday of the Month leaving from various locations and we are planning 1 weekend ride a year, there are no formal meetings to attend just the social ride, members attend a meeting during a ride usually when we stop for lunch.
If any prospective members or other clubs have any questions or would like more information about the Masonic Motorcycle Association of Australia we encourage them to contact the chapters Secretary, Wor Bro Peter Jacques at email@example.com 07 3122 2339 , we look forward to working with everyone in the motorcycling community.
